Okay --- I am totally turning off the t.v. now so I don't keep posting :) but I wanted to add in something I read on gotquestions.org
So many of the major issues in our choice of president this year are dependent on what we believe government was meant to do/be. And I agree with what they wrote here.
Check it out:
Romans 13:1-5 gives us the God-ordained role of government in society:
1) to govern with authority from God (v1-2)
2) to praise the good in society (v4)
3) to punish the evildoer in society (v4)
4) to bear the sword and execute wrath against wrongdoers (v4)
